Cook with Budgett works in miraculous ways and this is the time when my tongue wants to get craved for like anything unusual, my mind been consistently working in showcasing food in a very unique and colourful with some creativity so that monotony can be a break.

 You either can go for recreation of all those Disney little characters in the shape of dosas and parathas. Bread Channa Chatpata chaat is a simply best yet tasty recipe with having health quotient high for kids as well as adults. Cook with Budgett here presents before you a super party appetizer that can be fitted into a kid's lunch box and evening snack recipe.


Ingredients Of Bread Chana Chatpata Basket

For Bread Basket:

8 thick slices of bread (white/brown)

Butter For Chana Chaat:

2 Cup Chana, boiled

2 medium Onion, finely chopped

2 medium Tomatoes, finely chopped

2 tsp Cumin seeds

2 tsp Ginger garlic paste

2 tsp Chilli powder

2 Tbsp Chana Masala

1 tsp Turmeric powder

3 tsp Oil

Salt to taste

How to Make Bread Chana Chatpata Basket

Prepare Bread Basket:

1.Trim down the edges and cut down the bread slices into the circle shape.

2.Slightly roll out the bread circles and straighten them.

3.Now add butter on both sides of the bread remember that no side should be left behind.

4.Press them gently into the muffin pans.

5.Preheat the oven to 200 degree Celsius and bake the bread for approximately 12-14 minutes. Just till they turn into golden brown colour.

6.Move to a wire rack for cooling it immediately and effectively. Cook with Cook with Budgett


Prepare Chana Masala/Chana Chaat:

1.Add oil into the pan and once it gets completely hot, add some cumin seeds and add the chopped onions and sauté it up for 3 minutes. Then add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw and stingy smell goes away.

2.Now add some of the chopped tomatoes and fry them till they get properly cooked.

3.Add the turmeric powder with some chilli powder and chana masala powder. Mix all well.

4.Add the boiled chana. Add a Quarter cup of water and let it boil for 10-15 minutes.

5.Once it gets a little dry, switch off down the flame. Garnish it with some coriander leaves and serve it to your loved ones.
